just about every e30 i came across today is atleast 2500 and not even worth that amount. seriously just need a straight body coupe shell. so whatever e30 i end up getting the suspension drivetrain and interior are going up for sale.

Same here. I always just use RTV.

You have to admit the E36 M3 is a hell of a bargain. We are swapping all the E36 M3 stuff over to E30's anyway. You can daily it and have it as a potential donor car in the future if it should get wrecked. Buy it back from insurance cheap and swap everything over to E30. Win-win.
