Anyone know where to get seats refurbished? Taking apart my seat ATM to fix mechanical problems, but I might as well get the leather and what not fixed up too.

If they're Tan they will probably work.

But... my car just started backfiring today on the way home from work. So I'm putting all other projects on hold till I figure out why it's doing that. :(

Hell, I'm not surprised either, something always goes wrong on my car. I fix one thing and other takes a shit. Depending on what the issue is I might part out the car and buy a better one.

After being jump started, and driven, you can start it a few more times.
Then it wont start/crank, lights on dash still on, so on..

This isn't my car by the way. I think the alternator is bogus.

im not a wiring expert but it sounds like a bad ground or a short somewhere, how often and how long is the car driven

CPS brosky, had a similar issue a couple of years ago. My car would run, had enough power but would die after awhile. Replaced tne CPS and fixed all of those issues., even a slightly broken and or grimmy CPS will cause issues.

Yeah I understand how the CPS works and what it does, but the car runs fantastic. Slight idle fluctuation every 3 minutes, but I'm sure there are a few vac leaks somewhere since its old.

I think it's a shitty alternator. I don't have proof its new so I think it's smoke out of the person's ass.

If the light on the dash for the battery does not light up in position 2 your battery won't charge. It completes the charging circuit. Kinda a dumb design.

that's what everyone has been saying. get something that obviously has been better maintained and won't look like shit. start new.

bad ground. something is draining the battery. did it happen after installing something that needs power? if so, remove it, and see if it happens. otherwise, does it have the correct battery, or is it one of those light weight 13lb racing batteries that need to be charged daily otherwise they drain out within a few days.

Yea id make sure the battery is the correct battery, and also id look for shorts...there was a reason they had to replace the old battery and alternator in the first place
