I'd say about an 04/5 e46 tried to play tag coming out of pv last night and the vert held its own around the bends and short flats . Considering I'm still a 2.5 maf ,straight pipe with injectors 373diff .so I don't see the need for an s54 when the m20 is much more durable,easily accessible for parts,maintence is not an issue and frankly you can beat the shit out of them. So for the difference I can do a 2.5,2.8,3.0,3.2 n/a or even turbo for that matter and blow the doors off the s54 for a quarter of the price and still have money in the bank.
