I have a friend that is doing the swap in the same car. Brian checked at the dealership and the re-coding can be done. I think that there are some other details to work out and it is not well documented. But it would be the perfect setup when finished. I hope you can at least get another 540 back into it and enjoy the torque for a while.

i know, i've been looking into it and it's kind of muddy, especially for the wagons with the driveshaft lengths and such. i just dont want to end up with another indefinite project like the ix turned into.

Don't get me wrong, for 47 bucks a pop they are wonderful, they are smooth as fuck and seemed to handle very well on the fwy at all speeds. I will write a full review once I get an alignment and go to the canyons.

just make sure they get warmed up first and you'll be fine. you're more than welcome to drive my car as well and see.
