Today is looking pretty good, added 3 much needed classes for fall one of which will be a certification course I can toss on to the old resume, and sourced some potential goodies for the car.

Things are looking good here too,I was going to pull the head off my white e30 at home. Told my boss that his tech that did my motor 2 years ago over tightened my valves and waffled my valve's up. He told me (oh no dont do it at home,bring it here and we will do it here.) Needless to say that the guy that waffled my valves no longer works here. He was old and long over due for retirement.

My old art history teach in HS used to be an EMT. Told us all his horror stories, but said it was the most fulfilling time in his life, but there comes a point when you've had enough.

I wouldn't call my experiences "horror stories" but it is an interesting job. So far it's good I want to continue on to become a paramedic

For all of us that may not be aware, can one explain the differences between EMT and Paramedic, cuz growing up an EMT would be like a volunteer who would show up on the scene before the Paramedics but usually in their own car...

I can only picture mike hauling ass to a scene then having to inch his way into a parking lot to then go and save someone

Only difference is Paramedics can start IV's (advanced life support). All I do is take people from the hospital back to wherever they need to go. Super easy

Ah gotcha,so like when real shit goes down they call the paramedics

Any time 911 is called they send the fire department (paramedics) there are some companies out there that have contracts with 911 to receive calls. I do not work for one of those companies. We do a lot of 5150 calls (crazy people) in which we take the patient from the hospital, ER, etc. and transport to a mental hospital where they are on hold for 72hrs.
