    Good Afternoon Guys,

I broke down and got SS brake/clutch lines, 25mm master cylinder and rebuild kits for the calipers for the M3. Can't wait to fix the mushy brake pedal. I called the local machine shop and they only want $10 to prep all 4 calipers for paint.

    Cheers,

    Jim

I need to change my master. I've heard great things about the e34 master and booster swap.

Don't forget to order the hard brakeline for it Jim, with the smaller fitting. I think u have to bend it yourself now.

Thanks, I did not know about that. I have the tubing benders and know how to use them so that's not a problem. I thought that all I had to do was to bend the existing lines to fit the new master. I guess I need to do a little more research... I thought I had this nailed. Thank you very much!

Finally got to upgrade to Code 3 (lights and sirens) today in my ambulance. Usually do Code 2 (no lights/sirens). Pretty exciting when you hit the lights and sirens everyone gets the fuck out of the way. I need that shit for my BMW lol

So what's the rule with driving over curbs and opposite traffic?
Basically just do whatever you want, or?

Lol not really so much driving on curbs, but driving on the opposite lane can be done but you're supposed to stay in the left lane or median. Once you're on the freeway you turn everything off and once you get back on the streets it's back to lights and sirens and gtfo my way!

this is what I am leaning towards, plus one of them is like a 10 minute WALK to work, so projects wont create a problem getting to work if they arent done in time. only thing is that I dont know how Fullerton is, socially. I know theres the CSU closeby but Im not a college aged person...

This is what my fear is with getting a place in HB or Costa Mesa. Im not sure which of the two commutes it would be

Is there stuff to do in Fullerton?

You need to change one of the lines because for some reason the M3 MC has one small and one large flare fitting where the E32 MC has two of the smaller fittings. I forgot the PN for it. Check to make sure you don't already have a 25mm MC too. You never know. E30 325's should have the line you need already bent in case you have access to a parts car. OR just order the new one.

When I ordered a new clutch hard line I opened the box and said "what the waffle". Been sitting in my massive box of parts now for about a year. Lol.

I'd love to be close to the water because Im spoiled up here with bodies of water all over the place, but I am paranoid that commuting 20 miles a day in so-cal will drive me mad.

I went back to the upgrade site and saw there was a page 2 that talked about the hard line and has the part number. I just might have saved that brake line from the E30's I parted out. Thanks for the tip.

I did the same thing but had an old one so I could match up the bends. If you want to send me your I can bend it for you.
