is it possible to use a 325e's o2 sensor wire (engine compartment to underside of the car) with a 325i's sensor? i know the i's are a 4 prong and the e's are 2. could i just run another 2 wires within it? seems like it would work, but i dont know which wires need to be connected together from the harness -> to the sensor.

      any help is appreciated.

Im running an i harness. The problem is the wire, not the sensor. I have a new bosch plug, just looking for a way to make my e wire work

the e34 o2 sensor wiring is longer... and it has the correct 4-wires you need. Don't half-ass an already easy task.

i would use an "i" wire if i had it, but its just kinda hard to justify driving all the way out to a yard for a dollar part. i plan on getting the right stuff when i have other things i need, but im in a pinch and need to get the car smog'd this weekend...so if i could make what i have work- it would be awesome.

or does anyone near hemet/riverside that has one i could get?
