I thought 75 was the new cutoff??? Is it still 74

Im actually looking to pickup a 190D also. Still kinda wish I had bought that 2.5T when I had the chance, but it was blue on blue

I guess the cutoff goes by production month. So pre 6/75 should be ok. Diesel smog is any car post 94
I spotted a 2.5T on craigslist a couple days ago. Think it might be there still had around 200k on it.

That's the rumor but I have not tried to confirm it.

I am about 80% there. I need to total up all the new parts and see what I have invested which will take a while because that folder is about 3 inches thick. LOL Starting on that today. Then I will have an idea of how much I will loose or make on the sale. I have barley drove the car in the past couple of years so it needs to feel the love of a new owner.

We pulled the windshield on Sunday and did not mess anything up so that was a big relief. Those fancy wire crank cutters with the suction cups are amazing to work with. There were no clips on the "original" (who knows if it was original) windshield. I have not gotten any feedback from all the folks I talked to about the clips yet so if you find something out please let me know.

Jim, only reference I have seen regarding clips are the 850 clips used to secure the outside trim only.

Once upon a time in CA it was like this... Reason i'm keeping the diesel 190. fk smog. Even our 75 caddy still needs smog.

I really want an s30 or 510 Datsun tho, but everwhere I look seems like prices have skyrocketed atleast twice-4x what im willing to shell out for a stock beater.

been dying to get an s30. can't find a decent deal like you used to be able to. you can still find them, but you literally have to jump on it within a few hours.

Only ones ive been able to find at a reasonable price are "project cars." Dont need to get trapped in those money pits. Even slightly restored cars are asking 8-10k.

Once was working on a guys 914 & he had a dope collection in his backyard. One of which was Paul Newmans 510 coupe track car. Thing was perfect how I would want one. Basic 4 banger with stacks, buckets w/ half cage, and basic suspension. Pryed a price out of him at 30k.

Had this OG Banana tail Celica GT also. Wanted 15k. :(
