    Unbolt and move the rack. If you need more room to wiggle, jack up the oil pan (after loosening the mounts). I did it 4 months ago; hard but not impossible.

      Yeah I know going to give it another try tomorrow but I need to find my cutting wheel I don't like when people move my stuff.

          Got a total loss claim in my office for an e30 touring today. Veeeedddy interesting.

                Also, I didn't use a cutting wheel, I was limited to a vice and a hack saw. And a drill. And a hammer. It took a while.

                You don't need a garage, you just need nice neighbors that won't complain about a car on jack stands for a couple weeks. And you don't need a lot of tools, just the right ones.

                  yeah i seen the hacksaw but since i have the luxury of a cutting wheel i don't want to spend time cutting by hand. i want to be done fast.

                              I got the final payment on the Mtech and deposited it in the bank. Just waiting for the check to clear and I say goodbye to the old girl. One last full detail over the weekend and it's off to New York. She will be missed. Next step is to sell the two rooms of parts to clean up the junk yard.
