Agreeded. I only destroy parts that have already been destroyed. If those red seats had good centers, I would have taken the whole lot, specially for being so cheap at Ecology. However that was not the case.

I take very careful precautions when tearing out interior stuff frm a clean car with a good H-Vac or Crack-Free dash. You never know who might need it. However, on crapped up interiors, I have at it.


That being said, I heard there was a nice 89 325i late models that just got laid down yesterday late in the day at Ontario PAP. It might already be picked, but go see what you can find

It's all good Jinormus. I'm sure Mike was referring to perfectly good seats and parts. You know...when someone tears apart the good shit (like drivers side knee panels) just to get to a small $1 part. Or rips apart a cluster for gears or needles...wtf!

This is what I was referring to. I hate finding a clean interior only to be missing a bolster. if the seat is that nice, swap it with your own! It's like prying open a glovebox to get the latch and marring a crack free dash. That kind of stuff grinds my gears.

they're to be honest, i HATE people that take apart clean sport seats and leave partial remnants. just buy the whole seat, they're not that expensive. especially on 50%

First off Mike.. The seat centers were already trashed. It seemed as though someone saw the seats, thought they looked good, then proceeded to cut them up like a gangsta with a box-cut. The only thing good left were the three bolsters and the headrests...
i didn't grab the seats cause I would have trash taking up space that I'd never be able to sell. Grabbing the 3 good bolsters and headrests was the best course of action

Several E30's in Wilmington but they've been thoroughly raped by the same person. Possibly the same guy who busts open instrument clusters just to get odometer gears and misc parts. WTF. I'd love to run into this guy. 2 318Ti's were at the big PYP with 5 lug suspension just waiting to get plucked.
