I'm in LA for the weekend.

Had a great afternoon at the Yard over in Ontario. Way more fun than looking round Beverley Hills and Hollwood LOL
10 e30s... still plenty of meat on the bones.
Managed to remove a cruise control set-up ftom a 325i plus a set of ABS sensors from a '92 vert. Plus a complete M20 engine wiring loom.

Pick Your Part in general has been awful--no decent cars and prices are outrageous. It's a friggin junk yard.

There were a few at the katella pyp. But they wanted 30 for a master cylinder when 6 months ago I bought one for 16. So I pocketed it :) along with a m42 fan clutch wooo.

it's not so much about me being a cheapskate - it's the fact that i can find a lot of this stuff online, sometimes new, for cheaper without the filth or time/gas spent or risk involved with junk parts.

this may be true in some cases...but i like going for the knowlegde too...i get to tear about a ride , learn how shit works and not have to worry about breaking shit!!!

congrats, I agree I do go sometimes to learn how to take stuff apart without risk to my car :rofl: but yard prices have gone up too much that it almost makes it not worth it :/

I got my black 4 door panels for $40 on a half day. But nonetheless the prices are pretty jacked. I at least steal $2 worth of parts before I leave the yards..
