The first annual Archiefest was a resounding success. We had about 12 E30 M3s show up, along with an assortment of other E30s, E36s, and even some newer BMW models. We met in the parking lot by Wahoo’s Fish Tacos in Yorba Linda and had an informal meet and greet for a couple hours where people had the chance to show off their cars, take photographs, and talk shop. Best of all, it was great chance to be able to finally meet some additional members of the S14.net and R3v community.
Each person received a swag bag that included goodies like coupons from Archie’s ice cream,Wahos Fish Taco, cool miniature BBS replica wheels,Beck's Beer, stickers, and more. Everybody also got an entry form for a raffle where the prizes included Archie's T-shirts, Oakley back packs and sun glasses, Jada Toys remote controlled model cars, and so on. Everybody went home with a prize, but one lucky person won the grand prize, which was a coupon for 50% off a set of pedals that was graciously provided by the good folks at BMWpedals.com!
After the raffle, the hungry masses descended upon Whaoo’s to redeem the coupons for delicious fish tacos and to socialize for a bit before heading home.
