I'm going to either buy a subframe from Bayside. Or make my own. Then get someone to tig the pan for me. If I can break even ~350$ compared to a e34 pan I'll be happy.

I have a m54,I just wanted something to test fitment on.

The E30 uses a front sump oil pan, to clear the sub frame etc. The M5X motors generally used a rear sump pan. Except for a few years the 525i came with a front sump. Those cars are pretty rare in yards now since people caught on. Now if you have a in with the junkyard, they sell the pan and then it gets resold on craigslist for triple.

I've seen 5 e34 525i's in junkyards these past two weekends and they all were missing the oil pan but were otherwise 95% intact. Its a pita

Before I knew about the e34 pan cartel, I messaged one of the Craigslist adds that had the same picture up forever asking if he'd negotiate. this is what I got.

Wrong oil pan bud, I need the e34 one, and as far as the exhaust deal, I still never trust the man, so i drive in higher gears if a cop is behind me.

Have a set of IE3 race springs for sale. 80 dollars firm. The fronts have been cut, can’t remember how much but the car sat level. Bought these from 2mAn a few years ago, they came off his aluminum monster.
