Hey guys can you help me out. Wondering if my friend who has a 325e with a poor man stroker motor (i head and e block) can use an "i" clutch and flywheel on his car direct swap. If not, what does he need to do? I gave him my sach clutch kit and my old flywheel. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The ecu was already changed to an "i" one right? IIRC, the sensors from the bellhousing were deleted, so yes, should be able to run "i" clutch setup.

He's using a 173 ecu and yes he did swap out the harness to the "i" harness. He was worried about the starter and it not being compatible with the I flywheel or something
they mount the same. different fly wheel bolts. but the starters are the same. you will also notice there may be a transmission distance issue, causing the clutch slave to not release the clutch.
