Still got em? Do you know how much less stack height they have over a stock spring hat?

I'll take them as long as they're not total shit haha. Are they acceptable for a street car and are the bearings a standard size to get replacements?

            OMG
            Z3 rack is amazing

Eric, you gotta do it man, its awesome. No more double-hander turns; everything is easily one handed with very minimal increased steering effort/feel.

My u-turns are even tighter than the stock e30 rack; I have to watch out not to steer TOO quickly or I whip it or I overshoot my u-turn.

People also said "you-sneeze and change lanes". That's not exactly true; there is still enough gear lash in the rack to where minimal error-inputs don't negatively affect steering (IE, accidentally steering during a sneeze), but not enough to where you have to over-compensate like you did with the progressive e30/e36 racks

I gotta say, it's absolutely perfect

I am a very happy happy boy ;D

              Well, she's pretty much done.

A big thanks goes out to Oliver Ramos (oliver.r) for doing such a fantastic job with the paint & body, and sending me a photo of the progress every hour or so :D

Here's to another great 30 years of French motoring.. cheers et a la votre!
