I would say yes but I still have the pfeba lip LOL. I havent had ANY time to work on my car, its actually at the shop getting things fixed :( Hoping to get it back sometime today.

I've dealt with Matt before, good guy

However, he's the guy selling the heads to begin with. You never go to a salesman to get an opinion.

Not saying he can't be trusted; just saying I'm looking for cold hard facts, dyno sheets, flow testing data, MPG fluctuations etc.

For a standard or built m20 head I'd go to a real shop with decades of history. My m20 head was built by dave cruz of engine specialities; he passed in the 90's (private plane crash)

Some local spec e30 guys use Star machine in emeryville.
Some local spec e30 guys use rebello racing in concord
Ellsworth machine in mountainview did our e30 24v head.
My e36m s52 head was built by stirtz machine (retired dec 2013)

All of the above listed are well known for decades of work.
Star, stirtz, rebello are 30 years+ each in the bay area.


Test Fixtures and valve grinding machines and pressure setup testing tools are not easily purchased or operated from a non-commercial standpoint.

The Surface machine for cylinder head to MLS gasket or other perfect type finish is extremely expensive and only affordable if your shop is turning out lots of cylinder heads. Without a proper perfecf surface you are really screwed.

The ability to build and then test with pressure on air and coolant side is quite needed; fixtures are often made from scratch for these tests.
