I almost went down that path (got accepted to Cal Poly for Electrical Engineering) but decided to come to UCSD for Economics/Enviro + Business Minor if I have time. I work at AMD as a chip design engineer, mainly writing software models of our systems to do performance projections for new products. Been doing it for 6 years now.
