Anyone got a write up for valve adjustments? Thinking of doing this and my timing belt at the same time; probably gonna order a new VCG too.

Yeah, it's pretty hit or miss.
Granted, even though I have two-pass "priority registration" for being a student athlete, it still sucks.

It can restore some power. If the valve lash is more than spec, it means you've lost some valve lift.

It's simple just a pita, your lucky if you get it right the first time. But itll only take like an hour or so to do.

finally have some time to crawl under the e21.

soooooo basically this is what i find,





guibo seems fine, but the shaft is rubbing on the exhaust piping and it has some up and down play in it, tranny mount looks fine engine mounts look fine,guibo looks fine.....
i think the drive shaft might be broken, i gave it a feel under where the cat shield is and it has some bumps and might be broken.... currently getting exhaust out and shield out so i can see whats going on.

I'm like 90% sure my driveshaft is cracked. It sounds like my diff is bouncing up and down when I change gears too violently or even give it gas.
Solution till I get scrilla: crank and just keep giggin LOL
