Exactly. I just want to go through with it so I have that peace of mind. Plus I wouldnt have to trip balls like im doing now to try to figure something out for smog.

And in case i'd ever want to sell the car, it'll be a plus.

EDIT: i've been driving for a little under a year with my car un-BAR'd, and haven't had any problems with the pigs yet. Hopefully it stays that way

I think it adds to resale value personally. And you can't get it legally Smogged if its.not bar'd. Correct me if I'm wrong.

correct, you spend what you want to spend pretty much with these swaps. depends on how much time is put into finding the best deal, or if you say fuck it like i did and bought all new

i passed on the 4th try... i had s50 cams and a chip , was fucking with the numbers.
$400 later it was bar legal.
