A cop popping your hood is not an unlawful search if he can see boost gauges or air fuel gauges. Also if he heard a BOV or turbo spooling. He could even pop the hood because your exhaust is loud. Plenty of reasons he could use for "reasonable suspicion".

Lol. We are running 1 and 2, working 3 and 4 and probably taking off unless I can convince my codriver to run again with shitty tires on the e30 for funsies. If you're running 6 we may not see you, but I'd certainly be interested in how you did against my cars :) I'll spam video as always afterwards.

I did not beat your time. ran a 51:12X. My head wasn't in race mode. I made lots of little mistakes all over the place. The car felt good, but I just didn't drive that well. I only managed to pick up one second over 4 runs. I was running too much air in my tires to keep from cording them on the outsides (had the tires flipped on the wheels friday because the outsides of the tires don't get that much wear.) so that didn't help anything either. Yeah, excuses, but hey, well done.

If you got your hands on an m102/m109 out of an e23 745i you may be able to swap it over but that wouldn't be an m20 and frankly I doubt you want to do this badly enough to go through with whatever annoying way there would be to have a carb legal turbo motor.
