the z3 is perfect for DDing. stock feels mushy and hella slow. the z4 is great for a track type car. but my fav is still the UUC evo3 full kit.

I've been working my ass off to get enough money to transfer the donor motor and tranny into my e30. Z3 was part of the plan. I might as well just get it lol.

+1 on UUC evo 3 shifter. Had that on my iX years ago and it was pretty sweet, but also $350......
Just do a shifter either way, whether it be e36 or z3, they're all good in they're own way. People's preferences are just that...preferences. Try one if you get the chance see what you like. The other thing people fail to realize is what these cars felt like fresh 20-some years ago. It's easy to call an upgrade an improvement when the original parts are shot beyond belief. The stock setup once freshened up isn't horrible either, just not optimal ;)

I'm not so sure about my head unit wiring. Just got a new deck and I really don't wanna hack up the wiring for the stereo, I want to be able to revert it back to stock as easily as possible...

hack it up. no real good way to save it and get good sound.

Sister was moving. Had a UHaul full of everything she owns. Trailer on the back with her car on it. Someone stole everything, ditched the UHaul. They won't dust for prints or anything. They said that's it pretty much. Pissed.
