          well, i know his engine is ok. maybe i should take a day off work, have him drive the car to me so i can fix all the crap wrong with it.

          DK sell your engine to LBV and get on that m30 swap

                Okay so I've been having problems with my ICV lately. I figured it was the actual unit, but after trying 4 different units I'm sure its not that. I checked for power when ignition is on the on position and no power is going to the ICV. Anyone have a clue whats going on?

                      It's had a rough idle that I've been tracking down for a while. It seems as though it intermittently gets power, but all of a sudden it is getting no power whatsoever... As in the plug coming off the wiring harness isn't giving it power.

                            well i checked myself and went and looked at cl, and early-90s 535i's are 1500-3000... which is how much i'd want, given that the ITB setup cost me almost a g and a half. hmm

                                getting a whole 535i is not as useful as you'd think. An e30 M1.3 harness is much easier to use than the e34 one.

                                I'd look for a long block and a trans, grab an e30 harness. I'm going to visit an E3 guy this weekend who's supposedly got a big stash of parts; can let you know if he's got anything for you.
