u've put more money into that stupid m42 than an s38 swap would have cost you.
i don't know about that... i got an awesome deal on the dbilas setup, some guy in hayward was dumping it for $1400. past that, a few hundred bucks for 24lb injectors and an adjustable FPR, a few hundred more for a custom exhaust, and a MarkD chip.
viable-looking S38s on car-part are all ~$3500 right now, and that's just for the engine.
b34's kind of lame.. bellhousing sensors, intake manifold struts, no wiring harness cover, 45 less hp. b35 all the way... but I might also have a M106 kicking around :o

given that i need an engine '91 or newer, isn't the b34 my only option? i'll admit my knowledge on m30s is not expansive, have never really looked into them much.
2man: nope. given that i had to go with injectors 25% larger and a bump in rail pressure to get the tune right, i'd guesstimate at a corresponding increase in power to that number.
