My dad loves the car. Now him and my mom are talking about getting him an e30.

Oil pumps don't just go bad unless the chain died or the securing fastener is dissappered

Fuck my car. Okay when I let off the gas in gear without pressing in the clutch I'm getting a realllyy bad grinding noise. Also when I go Over a big bump. It's like metal on metal and is definitely not scraping on the ground.

I definitely have no pressure or flow. I took off the pressure sender and cranked it and not a drop of oil came out. The oil filter and housing was totally dry also. And I agree with you. I don't think there's anything wrong with the pump but at this point it's the only thing t could possibly be. I also don't think replacing the pump will fix it, but Steven convinced me too and I don't really have any other options.


Also guys, where do you recommend to get some cheap tires? And what tires would you recommend that are cheap and not totally shit. Need 205/50/16 for my dads car. I'd rather just go to a shop and have em do it than order them online. If they could align it too that'd be nice.

Hit up rob. He quoted me like 260-300 on some cheap tires in 205/50/15's mounted and balanced last year, not sure if he still works there or has friends there but I'm sure he still knows where the deals are at

Back in the bay, my car made it to Colorado and back home with no issues what so ever. It needs a wash real bad though.
