it should. the aux fan is on the AC circuit. start tracing wiring.

What should I look for? I'm running just the stock aux fan with stock wiring, e36 switch on the radiator. It turns on if I hold a lighter under it and doesn't seem to get hot enough to kick on by itself. Ill double check that the AC button doesn't work. Is there anything I need to do other than just press the button? Anything to ground or anything now that my whole compressor and everything is gone?
