and i know a thing or two about restoring e30s.

So my Fuel pump fuse blew, now every time I try to start it it blows. What do? I'm by a friends house and I don't really wanna tow it home.


So who can I buy a fuel pump from because that's most likely it? I think all late models 325/318 are all the same.

Fixed it. Not sure what the issue was because I just replaced the fuse and checked the voltage, then started it and it was fine. Any meets tonight?

Had a HELL of a last night in San Diego last night in PB. Now the car is almost fully packed.
To the brim. Plan is to hit 5 to 101 by noon. Hope to be in San Francisco by 8 pm.

You are lucky. Replace fuel pump w a new one ASAP

The fuel pump shorts the fuse when the internal items sieze and create a short. Yours must be a cat/alien and have more than one life.

My clutch fan was tapping on a hose clamp making the clicking sound you heard. Dimitry looked at it and everyone agreed it sounded mostly fine.


Also about the fuel pump. Is an internal blockage the only thing that'd cause a short? That's what I thought at first too, but it's been fine, 100ish miles since then.
