well, idunno.
understanding that the 2.8 bottom end has been rebuilt, it's got a head that probably flows better, and a hot cam. it's probably a pretty peaky, if small, big-six.
we aren't talking about something pulled from a junkyard car here. it probably cost more than $3k to build it, and dude is just trying to recoup some of what he spent. that's just my devil's advocate argument, though.
on another topic, i'm still hunting carmax for dailies. found an rx-8. i'm cool with a rotary if it's got a warranty and someone else pays to rebuild it when it spits out the apex seals. cheaper than the hyundai i was looking at before, too.past:
