Does anyone local have a transmission available for a M20 car? Or, can pick one up for me in LA?

When I got my car, the there was a whine that I can hear when the window is down and driving next to a separating road divider. The transmission had all the oil on the outside and none on the inside.

There is one in LA with 180K miles out of a 525. Is anyone going down there that could pick it up for me?

True, the PO had the dealer do all the maintenance @ 154k miles: timing chain/guides, regasketted everything, VANOS rebuild; the whole 9-yards. Some rough shifts/gear pop-out so the 6-speed definitely needs a rebuild in the future, but I'm making some solid pay now as it is and can afford it; $1k on a rebuild, no problem...

Keeping it in the bloodline here. I'm just crazy enough to match her crazy. Every girl worth it is gonna be some amount of berserk: as long as she's a solid 9/5-6 on the hot/crazy matrix, I think I'll survive


And.. My mom's a nurse; so... well.. She's crazy, but I give her a solid 5 on the crazy scale; not exactly anything to worry about there

Nurses make bank. UCD nurses start around 60/hr and only work 3 days a week. The OT pay is unreal and the benefits are nothing to scoff at either lol.

My mom works at UCD in the ED; $76/hr based on her experience and years in the field. Don't even get me started on OT; a single 12h is about $1k gross

Yeah, my life is set for the rest of the foreseeable future as long as the girl keeps up on school

End goal is to both get our feet in the door at UCD; that would be cute
