Thermostat O-ring decided to leak midweek. Awesome...
Anyone know if you can pick up just the O-ring at the local auto parts store? I replaced the thermostat a year ago with a wahler 80* unit so I know it's still good.

I'm more leaning towards the e30 as the primary to and from vehicle given the engine is 20k into its life period. Just waiting for my damn w-2 so I can actually start checking out some e36 and s13 then go from there

I want a much shorter final drive than the car has now, and the only other way there would be a 3.73 behind the ZF; and the Torsens never got that final drive so I'd be sending it out to a shop to get the new ring/pinion in.

What's the concern about using the 240? Guys have been running M5X swaps and M42 turbos on them for years. I don't have crazy power goals for this car, lightness and bolt-ons will work fine.

3.73/ZF is much shorter than a 4.10 behind a G240. I don't think you will want to go that short with all the torque the M52 has.

Honestly this is pretty hysterical. I might go check it out as a chassis swap candidate for all the stuff in whee30.
