I'm in the market for the e36 one, cause it looks much nicer, but heck.. Right now I'll take anything :-P

Do you know if it lit up and made noise before you pulled it? (it doesn't need to make calls, Call feature won't function in the US period)

Ah.. Well.. Let me know; if you've got everything to mount it, like the cradle and everything; I'd rather just get it from you. No time to look at swap meets.. I'm in town this weekend as well. Let me know! :-D

Its going too look way better than any of the other ones ive seen. Im having my friend do the welding as he welds aluminum for a living. Going to fill the holes completely and then mill it flat. Punch the new holes and viola. I will turn a spud in the lathe that locates the centers on the bore. Once the spud is indicated in i can just slap the centers in and drill the holes. Should be about an hour setup and around a minute per center.

                  Fuuuuuu

We would get along swell... My last job included lathe production of molds and CNC cutting of carbide cutting tips. Nothing as crazy as the stuff you posted, but I definitely know we're on the right page :-P

Flipping chicken at Chick-Fil-A son! :-P

I was doing MAE, but I couldn't pass some of my classes for the life of me. The company I worked for went under ashely do to horribly poor management, so I got laid off around March earlier this year. After 3 failed semesters for one class at school I just gave up and went Medical Field, At first I was pretty stressed and bummed, but now I'm kinda open to the idea of Medical; only work 3-4 days a week, long hours, generally relaxed (for what I'm doing that is) workload.

I'll have the time and money I need to work n my future, personal expansion, support a house, and work on the e30. I'm honestly pretty excited for the future :-D

I still like engineering, but I'm more of the hands on, skill set guy. I don't really have the knowledge behind the practice

I feel you. I hated school. Never took a single college class. Im good with my hands and can make, build, fix pretty much anything. If i ever had to sit at a desk for a day id lose my mind.
I had a roomate that was a pulmonary specialist and he made serious money and seemed to really enjoy his job.
