we need to have a nor cal bbq. LA has bimmerfest/archiefest. WA has e30picnic. and yet the place with the most e30s (bayarea) has no picnic/bbq. we do have killer meets tho.

Kalim used to coordinate weekly Friday night meets that would alternate locations-- one week in Milpitas, one week in Tanforan/SFO.

Granted, those weren't E30 specific, but attracted a broad group of BMW fans from stanceypants kids to razekar addicts to OEM/OEM+ folks and occasionally some unicorn-fart level rarities (Alpina B12 5,7 850CSi, LS3 E30 M3, etc).

But then he got busy and no one else hosted, so they ded.

Its just down here the Van Nuys gtg was a long standing monthly E30 gtg and once people started posting it on Facebook it was getting reposted to other random car groups and it became a huge shit show and basically ruined it.
