Kronus, how's the transmission in that thing? I am pretty interested in the engine for spare parts for my rebuilt, the trans, and the ecu. Any thoughts on it?

we haven't had many bites, and are currently taking the motor apart. I suspect we floated the valves. if it's an easy fix, the aim is to transplant the whole powerplant into the 52 willys we're building to replace our e30, so it won't be available.
I do have a spare ECU and a pair of M30 g260's with dead syncros available, if you want to either get them rebuilt or figure out how to do it yourself. I think someone just posted a G260 rebuild guide on GRM.

Well if it's more catastrophic, I could use the block, maybe the crank/pistons. Still waiting to hear if my crank is bent or if my pistons are too worn to reuse. Also, I'd be happy to snag the MarkD chip if you don't want it.
Gonna look up the 260 on GRM right now. It'd be awesome to be able to make a spare. Or at lease swap stuff from an m20 g260 into an m30 g260 (if that's possible).

No bench vice unfortunately, gotta pay a shop to do it or buy prepressed. Hard to find a set of lollipops with the solid rubber pre-pressed, miight just have to go for something harder. Condor UMHV or a poly bushing. These would be easier for me to install on the CAalso, so might be a good choice. I can always rent a puller, but idk about install tools. Is it the same thing?
Last time I did bushings I offered a guy selling a 20 ton press on CL ~20 bucks to use it for an hour (he accepted)
I have AKG 75D offset cabs and they press in by hand/with a mallet. I've taken the stock ones out with a dremel cutting through the outer metal ring but it's a pita.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
