Whattup guys. When doing a valve adjustment, how much drag on the feeler gauge is right? I did mine a couple days ago but I think I might have done them a little too loose, its noisier now than it was before.

Do it with a slight drag with a .010mm feeler guage, then use a .012mm and it shouldn't fit at all. that's how I do em and haven't had any problems so far

took me longer to write this sentence than to search and find it.

Next time you have to pull a dowel out, use a drill bit that fits snug inside the dowel and grab the dowel with vise grips. The drill bit will keep the vise grips from destroying the dowel. I've done it many times and never have destroyed one.

damn killer idea. ive just had to use the vice very gently twist it out, pita.
drill bit will be what i use from now on.
