I have to disagree and say the moderators have been just as childish. This is a Northern California thread, if you go and look at the SoCal one, it has the same content. It's treated more as a chat room than your typical organized thread, and YES...using slang from their region. I'll quote some examples if necessary, but I don't think I need to.

When you talk about "being looked at as the dumbasses of this forum" what does this pertain to? Because we jokingly throw out words like "do.e" that piss off people from other regions? Where is this line of "stupidity" of how we're seen, and when is it crossed? In my opinion it shows a lack of intelligence not being able to form a cogent sentence, not capitalizing simple proper nouns such as "I" and the first word of a sentence, not to mention the lack of (or too many causing fragments) periods and commas. Why aren't these people targeted as well? Sure it's not slang, but they sound like fucking retards just simply conversing.

If "do.e" and other slang is really that offensive, why are things like "Hey Fags" allowed to be in the title of a thread? I'm sure there's numerous gay people in this forum that would be offended, not to mention maybe some sponsors. In my opinion "fag" is just as offensive as the word "nig.ger" and there would never be a thread entitled "Hey Nig.gers" yet this slid under the radar. Not to mention it goes along with the old saying to lead with example.

Yes, "do.e" has come to light more often because of the recent comedic music of rapper "Lil B" (based out of the Bay Area) even though it dates back ages to the days of Tupac, Mac Dre, etc. before rap was considered a joke. But what about other "slang" that appears on this thread like srs, srysly, lime, vlad references-vladtastic, a vlad job, etc. I'm not sure why these are accepted, yet others aren't. If it isn't offensive, why not let it go?

Edit: And is do.e really added to a list of offensive words blocking it out with ***? That's been taken much too far.

I think we can all move on now LOL. I didn't take it personally but it was a bit of a shock. Kinda expected "YOLO" to have been outted before our stuff haha. Either way we all are willing to clean it up a bit more for the sake of the other members on this forum.

Ok, i'm off of work and see things have calmed down. I don't want to really come off sounding like a dad telling kids to shut up or i'm pulling the car over! Cause i think the message has got across and people get the point. And thats to just calm down some. I know this is a chat thread, it says right there in the title it is LOL. But like i stated before. When your fellow NorCal people complain and when it starts to get noticed by the rest of the forum. Something has to be said.

We are all pretty understanding people for the most part, maybe just a little PSA would be better than a full on assault on it LOL.

Little PSA = poked at with a stick
Full on assault = Apache helicopter with greenlight to burn shit to the ground
