The ratios. On an m20 a 4.10 will be super short. You'll accelerate like a rocket but shift 12 times to get to 60, and by 61 you're at the rev limiter. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Dumb Question...Differents between 3.73 vs 4.10?
g260 with 3.73 with revlimit to 7000rpm
1st maxes out at 34.9mph
2nd maxes out at 60.8mph
3rd maxes out at 95.6mph
4th maxes out at 133mph
5th maxes out at 165mph
g260 with 4.10 with 7000rpm
1st maxes out at 31.8mph
2nd maxes out at 55.3mph
3rd maxes out at 87mph
4th maxes out at 121.8mph
5th maxes out at 150.3mph
as you can see, with the 4.10 diff, you will accelerate faster because you go through the gears faster. But the top speed is slower than the 3.73diff top speed.
the 4.10 diff will also have the engine revving a little high at freeway speeds.

I had a 4.10+G260 in my vert for a year. it annoying to go through first gear before passing the crosswalk on your side. also if you autoX is usually the wrong gearing for the courses, getting to 60mph means you have to grab 3rd and then try to for it nearly immediately back into 2nd and no G260 likes that change.
to sum up
get the 4.10 if you like to drift or drag
get the 3.73 for DD/road courses.
pants you have an early model cooling system, make sure you get the correct radiator. the one in the pic is for late models.

lame.
as far as i know no one makes a nice ETA rad.
but what exactly is the difference in the two that would make it incompatible with a b27 head?
they are the same size, what it different is the input side is at the top on a b25 and its at the bottom on the b27. and likewise revers on the output side.
