I have sawblades on my WRX with adapters. The adapters I got from adaptec for 5x100 to 5x120, 26mm ones were around $200 iirc. Not too bad since you can get blades cheap. Just gotta make sure you do your math right.

That's what I was told but what exactly would the issue be?

Is it a decreased turning angle? Rubbing on on fenders? Rubbing on struts/shocks?

Would love the info otherwise if its something that would make my car immobile Ill just slap the tires on my e90.

That wheel is screaming for a 255/40/17 minimum...which I don't think fits on an E30.

Yeah, I cannot imagine them on an e30. I texted him for pictures.

Got his pics. His rear fenders are fucked to the max. his fronts look aggressively pulled/rolled.

Looking around more I can run bigger tires like 235/40/17 in the rear. not sure about the front.

235/40/17 is still going to be way small on a 17x9.5. Go big (flares + 255s) or go home.
