Tell me about it.... Went to get a fitted for a tux and when she asked me my waist size I told the lady 34. She measured and said, you're more like a 38...
Good news is she was measuring where my pants where (I was sagging a little) and thats why it was wider. Or at least that is what I am telling myself.
Never once have I had to go about a 34 in size for shorts or pants..
Prom.. wooo. lolComment

So those are not rims? What the hell is a rim then?
When I google search "rim" a bunch of "wheels" come up.....
I always thought of it as rim is the metal, tires are the rubber, wheel is both together, mounted.

Rim...?
Caught red handed lol.. Been spending too much time in the hood?
Just a clerical update: "Wheels" are the appropriate name for the metal as a whole. "Rims" are the dishes that come on 3-piece wheels. However, rappers used the word "rim" to express the entire wheel so much that it became a widely used slang word. True car enthusiasts still hold true to calling them "wheels" however, I let one slip on accident lol
If your buying a new CSB, getting the old one off is easy, and if you have a vice and some metal piping, "pressing" a new one on is easy. Not all too familiar with the e21s, but if theyre anything like e30s, it'd be cake. The only hard part is getting the exhaust off, the rest is a few nuts and bolts and everything is off. Your better off getting a "new" used driveshaft if you wanna fix your u-joint as BMW designed their driveshafts to where if you take the u-joint apart, you essentially can't put it back together. If yours is binding (like mine was like CRAZY), take some carberator cleaner and soak the joint in it. It cleaned mine right up and freed up my binding issue to the point it was pretty much good as new
195lbs and size 32 FTW

the rim is the outer portion, exactly like a basketball rim.
so when people say rims i just imagine this on a car.
or maybe just this, these are pretty much technically rims
but mostly just this hoodrat stouf
and it annoys me.Comment

well it always had a "knocking" noise from the rear end/drive line/trans tunnel... but it was minor, more recently its absolutely horrible. i have stopped driving it since because it shakes the car so damn violently.Comment

On my first commute this morning I felt like my sports eat turned into a massage chair. Now it's not so bad, but it's still very minor, but nothing close to what it was earlier todayComment
