Anyone know how to remove this nylon bushing to get the shifter out? This is how far i've gotten:

From the top side. use 2 flat head screwdrivers and stick them in the notches and twist left then yank up on the shifter and it pops out

Use needle nose pliers from above. Twist the nylon bushing until the locking tabs reach the disengagement point and pull up on the lever.

                  This about sums it up.

                  Reason they gave me: None

But it was because I was being immature. Which I understand.

Do you have a motorcycle permit now? What motorbike do you have?

And so I turn it counter clockwise?

I will hopefully get a decent sv650 as my first bike.

I may have to sell my dirtbike though )':

                              YYaayyy.

I am very bummed I did not get that m30 swap.

Also, what do you guys think is a reasonable/max mileage a motor should have before you swap in? I am going to start and try to piece together a swap, but all the motors seem very high mileage.

If you can drive the car and it pulls strong, and it's reasonably clean under the valve cover, it should be fine regardless of mileage.
