I believe trim is the meaurement of the blades of the turbine. From small end to large. Don't quote me on that tho, I remember my friend talking bout it a while back. The numbers only go up to 100 also so closer to a 100 the bigger the turbo?

@Sinadoe Cruise control is amazing.. The first time I went to Sac I didn't have it and it sucked in more ways than one.. I got used to driving stick in traffic; it's not that bad, but with a heavy clutch, it starts to huuuuurt... A loud exhaust..? If it's under a certain decibel rating (which, most aftermarket exhausts are) your fine; if the cop gives them beef, stick up for yourself and say it's under the legal rating and your fine. If it's rocketpower loud.. Then your screwed. I've gotten rolled already for my exhaust and got off free cause it was stock (but gutted so it's freaking loud!) an under the rating so the cop was straight bluffing

Just cause they have a badge doesn't mean they know how to enforce the law.

That said.. I'd take the e30 errday :mrgreen:

pfft sti wagons...... straight in a fast line, handles pretty well, but its seriously not that great...


ive chucked many a subaru at a corner and BRZ handles AMAZING, sti? not as much, shit the golfs handle twice as good as the sti.

still a fun car, acceleration like whoa.

Let's start backwards.
1) cruise control sucks and I'm so glad that my 318i doesn't have the stupid extra stalk. The only reason to use it on an 8 hour drive is when you get bored and want to control your speed by pushing on a stick with your hand.
2) who cares if it's stick? A couple hours will suck in LA traffic, the rest of the way is gonna be 5th gear
3) how loud is it? That could be the biggest issue if its loud enough to have to significantly raise your voice to have a conversation.

But who gives a fuck anyways, I know my opinion doesn't really count.

Bruh, you obviously do not drive back and fourth as much as me.
My magnaflow is loud as shit.
I have a stock diff and holding speed in 5th gear is at high rpms, again, annoying.

Putting a bike on top=wind noise=slow down=bad mpg
