Congrats on getting the car running! Just goes to show that when someone is held accountable they get shit done. Lost money in the form of abandoned vehicle street parking tickets are a strong motivator! Played that game with a neighbor on many occasions. I got to the point where I had the San Jose Abandoned vehicle hotline memorized. The dude played the tetris game with barely running vehicles for months if not years. ( move clunker into driveway - immediately replace that spot on street with another clunker). No street parking tons of fluid drippage on street in front of house.
In the end he lost - Evicted!

If I was closer I would man up and help with the shift linkage.

fuckin shit almost crashed on freeway today, but luckily I was rolling M3. A fucking tire in the middle of a lane, going 75-80 far right (slow lane). Car in front of me moves in left lane quick and all of a sudden bam a fucking tire sitting there. Couldn't turn left cuz cars so I whipped right in emergency lane then back left car starts drifting (cuz of marbles and shit on side of road) towards grass then hooks up and I'm gone. Look in rearview and everyone was slowing down like crazy. Any other car I swear it was a spinout crash.

Thats some "Days of Thunder" shit right there!

Thankfully after 5 months I'm just broke, not in debt to anyone.
