I wish I could offer more advice, but my current S50'd e30 was BAR'd in Thousand Oaks by it's previous owner. IIRC the cone didn't fly and he had to put on the stock airbox. Good luck!Comment

I know, I know I've been MIA to the max. I've been on that jet life lately, traveling back to back, working my ass off and of course school.
Tonight I was finally like "I need to catch up on r3v" lol.Comment

You would be amazed at how well a single stage paint job can be brought back. My Alfa GTV sat in a barn for 30 years. Even after I washed it, it was still a rusty brownish red due to all the paint oxidization.
It went from this:

To this:

I think your paint will take quite a bit less work.

The pics of the Alfa were from Dec 2006. It got rear ended and punted into a ditch back in June 2011. Its all gone now. The wheel wells were actually beautiful in the original paint once I cleaned them. They looked perfect and new. The pics of it dirty were taken the night I brought it home Oct 15th or so. The pic outside was Christmas 2006, the with it looking decent in the garage was early November 2006. I wish I still had that car. Oh yeah, the pics of it dirty and clean in the garage, those were the original tires to the car. I did take it for its first drive with them since they held air. It was like driving down a washboard road. When they were pulled off to be replaced with the others, all four of them reverted to their flat shape.
