get a big piece of flat stock, drill big hole and six small holes, hold it that way.

it also may be possible to break it loose using the starter and cleverness, but I don't endorse that way as safe or reasonable.

I've heard about the starter and a breaking bar but I'm not trying to do that.
With the flat stock after i bolt it on do I place it along the chasis so it can get stuck while applying the pressure to loosen the bolt?

yes. put a 2x4 between the two to avoid damage.

Where are you? If that is the same as the m20 and m50 then I have a tool that holds the crankshaft... I got it and rent it out. $20. Lmk.

Is that a fog light wire

My car came with fog deletes already. Look at where the button is suppose to be...

So does this mean I can go order fogs and also the switch and they'll work? Or would i need to do the wiring myself.

to my knowledge ALL e30s came with fog light wiring. yes, all you have to do is buy the switch and the lights.

though i thought fog light connectors were blue??

Wiring is already in the harness, the button is probably either removed or tucked behind the dash
