Nice. I wonder if the person actually noticed? I parked my M3 next to the other e30 M3 in town one day and the guy totally didn't notice till I commented on his car. I couldn't believe he didn't notice because he walked around mine to get to his.

Just because someone has a cool car doesn't mean they notice what is parked next to them. Its kinda sad really.

But see, there's the problem. Some people don't know the difference. Sure, they can read the badge that says "M3" on the bootlid, and they probably refer to their car as their "old BMW", but they have no idea they own a homolgation special that was winning all the things when it was new.
