Would it be better to just get a different engine to swap in and rebuild mine?

For most we are talking a multi-day thing. Do able in a day? Yes, for the R3V wrenching machine. Intermediate wrenchers 1 and a half days.
First time pulling an engine and all that multi-day

Ok, is there anything else that I should do while the engine is out? As far as parts go is the VR block gasket set all I need? I'm going to try and get this done asap.

Do it . Its like a hundred bucks for the car dolly style trailer. Call beforehand and tell them the tow vehicle and vehicle being towed. Because sometimes they will not allow one vehicle type to tow another with the dolly style trailer.
