So...did anyone celebrate the holiday yesterday?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Get Permatex the right stuff Grey if they have it.
      That'll do just fine though.

You'll want to put a small bead on the rocker shaft plugs and on the places on the block where it meets aluminum, like the rear main seal cover, and maybe timing covers?

I forgot how the m20 looks.

      Eric can tell you

Just looked at my oil level, it's the same as when I parked my car last night. I then got under the car and looked at where it was dripping from and it wans't dripping. I'm thinking that it was dripping because the car was tilted. I know I should still fix the leak, but how stupid would it be to continue driving the car untill I can get the problem fixed if I keep a close watch on the oil level?

You're fine as long as you check your oil every time you drive your car and its at the right level

It was a good day to autoX in Marina. Not many people, but it was warm. I think I finished 2nd in class, about .5 sec off the pace, but 3rd place was 3 seconds behind me. I think I could have found the half second with another run.

                You guys missed out.

ya. i would only do it when you had a free long weekend or something. and also had the cash to do a clutch at the same time, if your clutch is old.

Ok, I figured that would be the answer.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Should I buy one and expect to do that as well or should I just pick one up if it turns out that I need one?

I know a guy with one. If you can't find one, PM me and I'll see if he would be willing to loan it out.

i really had a bad leak on my old M20, I thought it was the oil pan gasket. It turns out it was leaking from the oil pressure switch. Simple fix.

Yeah, any time I jack up the front end of my car I'll have to put an oil catch pan underneath that spot untill I get around to fixing the leak.

I'll be able to do that on Wednesday. I am pretty sure it isn't my oil pan gasket though, when I had the car jacked up it appeared to be coming from the joint between the bell housing and the engine.
