Sucks about a caliper bolt! I always blue loctite em (sparingly). Blue is brakeable and cheap insurance.

So yesterday my caliper bolt fell off as you guys mentioned. I was with steven so we parked my car and drove to PNP but only had an open ended wrench from an e30 toolkit. We couldn't get any caliper bolts off at the junkyard without any penetrating oil or leverage so I just had my car towed home since it was free. The driver was a nice guy and at some point had a 325es.

But I need a ticket (front license plate) signed off in the next couple days and I've been looking for a cop for like a month now with no luck. Does anyone know a place that there will be cops sitting around doing nothing? Or anywhere else I can get it signed off without paying $25 for a signature and $25 for the ticket?

LBV you need to properly grease your caliper slide bolts before you reinstall them ya twerp, that's why it broke ya noob.

CHP station is where I go to get fixable violation tickets signed off. 50% of the time they don't even bother to look and see that I fixed it...
