I did the e36 swap, but I was led to believe the swap was the same for both a z3 rack and e36 rack.

The second is a picture of someone who had to REMOVE the knuckle spacer e36 rack swap guys need because it would not fit when mated to the Z3 rack

The page you're looking for does not exist. Please visit our home page or locations page for more information.
I had a buddy who repinned his own adapter and it fried on him a year later; this was about 2 years ago. Still hasn't drove the car since cause he can't find out what the problem is. You never know with electrical stuff. I know I'll be purchasing that wire harness, or something like it, when I get serious about an s52 swap
You guys are too coolLast edited by JinormusJ; 08-25-2013, 12:12 AM.

1. Not enough gains to justify work done
2. Price
You're pouring $1000 to do the swap right (including engine) and your getting MAYBE 10-15 more HP than an M20. A good chip, injectors, and exhaust will run you around half of that and give you more gains. Plus, that's plug an play; with an M50, you actually have the issue with getting the whole new engine in there first
I personally don't think the swap is worth it at all, but to each his ownLast edited by JinormusJ; 08-25-2013, 10:23 AM.

Also one obvious fact:
e34 is a much better daily driver than either e30 or e36......
The Bmw factory builds the best dd bmw's
An engine swapped e30 is a rocketship for lemons racing or nasa gts3/4; street daily and engine swap in the same sentence is counterintuitive
