Okay so here I go again. A good friend in Oregon is parting out one of his E36 M3's and gave me first dibs on the S52, (124k). I'm really tempted to do it but I've never taken on anything on that level before. I wouldn't have the motor for a while, probably early/mid January, but would any r3v guys be willing to lend a hand here and there to do a swap?
i would like to but salinas is far from the east bay... it used to take me about 2 hours to get to my army unit at fort ord, and that was when i lived in san jose.

none of that looks unmanageable, and it's actually easier for the two of us since we're starting with M42 cars.
good luck man.
I would actually be doing the swap at my friends house in Chico, which is still just as far away but I understand, yeah I've looked through all of that!
i share that opinion. if you spent more on your taillights than you did on your tires, i'm laughing at you on the inside.
i bought my set before they went up. and my tires cost more than the tails did. but mine are cracked too.
speaking of crazy waste of money. B caps cost me $300 and 11 month wait. now i have to get my stupid wheels re-trued, welded, and fully refinished. but ya, that will wait until i have a job again.
94 325is, auto, appearance is beat to shit, no headlights, missing sunroof, engine runs very sound but P/S pump/pulley makes terrible banshee noises.
would be worth it alone for the m50 and the diff, if I had a place to part it, but I was looking for one to keep, make manual, strip down to next to nothing and have fun in.
