Maintenance never goes away no matter how much money you put into it, thats just part of owning a 20yr+ car. Also have to enjoy how your car looks. Its easier to dish out money to fix parts when you turn around and take that last look at your car every time you leave it.
People have different taste buds, just think this looks good even if it doesn't make any sense.
Either way its 30 bucks if i change my mind i can remove it.
Its not like im buying RS with blown tires.
Cakey, my point wasnt the looks as much as making dim headlights dimmer. even with 55W HIDs dark roads here in sac can be hard to see the pot holes. So cutting 30-40% of the light output seems like a really bad idea.
Also, about the maintenance, i found the limit. it's ~20k.
well, i just scored another job a couple days ago, and still have to wait another week for the background check to clear before i can start. seeing as i quit my old job in december, not really in a position to give hardware away at the moment.
you younger kids need to learn to code. take dad's old laptop, install ubuntu on it, and start by building a LAMP stack. then work on automating some shit with bash scripts. all free if you already have a computer to do it with. i walked a buddy through the process, and then based on that knowledge, got him a QA job at my last company, making more than 3x what he was previously getting as a game tester. these jobs are out there, you just need to build the skills (and i don't have a degree, so no excuses there).
Yeah I know man, I'll pick it up from you asap, most likely no more than a month. I've been kicking around the idea of starting to learn about all this crazy tech stuff, I have 4 really close friends that all know about coding and computers in general so they're open resources if I decide to try it. I am looking for a replacement job as we speak though, this 2nd one just isn't worth it anymore
