the cat is an easy fix,
there sounds like a short and or blown fuses for all the electrical
broken gas gauge could be many things. but find the shorts first.
$1900 is a good or bad deal depending on the car.

He posted the link a few pages back, it's an '89 325i manual, tan interior. It was cirrus but now is half black and half Cirrus.
I think I said 1600 a few days ago, it sounds like a typical cheap E30, I'd stick to that but he doesn't seem like gonna take less but good luck on your search!

ya that was a lot of posts ago, didnt even see it due to being at school all day that day.

4drs suck. my current one i hate.
that one is beat to hell.
someone converted the headlights, i have no clue why someone would ever do that. but with the e30 tax being so high, $1900 isnt too far off. $500 would be a better true value but gl getting one that cheap.

Definitely, I think he is in need for some cash he is fixing a 6 series e36 so maybe i can get him for around $1500 and just bite the bullet I didn't like the idle too much tho

Don't be hasty and buy a shitbox, when you can wait and buy a not-shitbox.

Having un-shitboxed a couple cars now....it's worth it to buy the more expensive nicer condition one up front.

That is assuming you want a car for primarily fun and transportation and not a perpetual project.

so true, i bought my car for $400. 28000 and years of my life, it still has many flaws.

buying a clean 325is for 7k will be a better investment.

the shop quoted $3500 and looked online and it said about $1600 for parts?
